HP has provided this official software package so that you users have the latest devices drivers and other software needed to get the most from their HP LaserJet Pro P1102 printers. The P1102 printer is a compact machine that is ideal for home and home office use.
HP recommends that use non-generic drivers and that you use the latest model-specific drivers available. Doing so ensures that you have access to all printer capabilities. It also ensures that ink/toner is consumed optimally and that the printer is compatible with the latest applications on the market.
This package is a self-extracting archive. The archive includes the device drivers, firmware files, a firmware update utility and other optional software. All of these items can be installed or used manually, but HP has also provided an installer for ease of use.
